Something about us...

Cottage Miriam is located in the village of Oščadnica, near the forest. It is especially suitable for family stays, groups of friends and nature lovers.

We are happy to accommodate you all year round in the Miriam Cottage, which is suitable for 6 guests. The cottage is new, built in the style of a wooden house with modern furniture.

On the outdoor terrace with modern outdoor seating, you can enjoy a quality wine or coffee and fully enjoy the fresh mountain air. In addition, there is a grill, kettle, sports equipment for playing football, volleyball and tennis. You can also relax perfectly in the bathtub. Children will have fun on the playground. The tennis court is located next to the cottage. The basement space will serve as a ski storage room. You can conveniently park your cars right next to the cottage.

What do we offer you...

The ground floor of the cottage will provide you with enough space for your free time. Here you will spend your holiday moments with your loved ones sitting on the couch, watching a good program on the satellite TV, listening to the radio or enjoying your meals at the typical wooden table with chairs. Within this room, we have prepared a fully equipped kitchenette with a fireplace stove, ceramic hob, electric oven, microwave, kettle, fridge with freezer and also a dishwasher.

The first floor of the cottage is designed for relaxation and a well-deserved sleep, which you can enjoy in one of two 3-bed bedrooms, each with a double bed and a single bed. Both bedrooms have access to a balcony. The cottage has a bathroom with a shower, toilet and another separate toilet. Free WiFi internet access is provided in all areas of the accommodation.

Where to go on a trip?

If you are interested in seeing and experiencing something during your holiday, we recommend a trip to the open-air museum Kysucké Village Museum in Vychylovka, a ride on the historic forest railway with a steam locomotive, a visit to the Kysucké Museum in Čadca or the unique Slovak Astronomical Clock in Stará Bystrica. In addition, it is worth seeing the manor house in Oščadnica and the Jozef Króner Museum in Staškov. If you are interested, you can swim in the Municipal Swimming Pool and the Čadca Swimming Pool. Trips to the surrounding nature of the Kysucké Beskýd Mountains and a cycling tour around the area are beautiful. The biggest winter attractions are the local ski resorts Športcenturm Oščadnica and Snowparadise Veľká Rača (only 3.6 km from the cottage).

In the nearby guesthouse (100 m) it is possible to order all-day meals. Since staying with a dog is not allowed with us, you can use the services of the Hotel for dogs in Oščadnica. We look forward to your stay in Chata Mariam this year.
